Moshi town sightseeing,

Materuni Waterfalls is one of the great Kilimanjaro waterfalls, which falls from the Kilimanjaro volcano rocks. Materuni waterfall is found in Materuni village, on the outskirts of Moshi town. Booking this Kilimanjaro day trip is a way to spend a day away from the bustle of town life. After breakfast at your Hotel, at 08.30 am, we take you by car to the Materuni village, register and then begin hiking for about one hour, reach to the waterfall. You spend your time enjoying nature scenery and seeing monkeys, baboons, and birds. It is allowed to swim, hence take your time enjoying. After that, we descend down to the coffee farms, learn the coffee farming, and then go to the step of processing and coffee tasting. The final step of the day tour from Moshi is to Chagga culture experience and get local lunch. After that, late afternoon, start driving back to your Hotel

Materuni Village Cultural Tourism

Day 1-2

Kilimanjaro's waterfalls hiking to Materuni start point, cultural tourism, coffee tour, and local lunch. The hiking adventure takes 45 minutes, to an hour from Materuni village. Also, remember to take your swimming gear.

YMCA Moshi Kilimanjaro

Day 2-3

YMCA is a famous stop on your way to Materuni waterfalls. It is a roundabout that directs roads to Arusha, to Dar es Salaam, and to the Materuni village. There is a statue showing an army, which once terrified a Chagga woman, that there is a war, and they throw their banana and run away.

Moshi

Day 3

Moshi is a tourist town located at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. It is located 45 km from the Kilimanjaro International Airport. Moshi is a tourist town, and there are several tourist standard accommodations, such as hostels, AirBnB, hotels, and lodges.
