I am looking for 3-4 TripMates to join me for 6 days as we explore Montreal and Quebec City together. I will be living across the border in Vermont during this time, therefore transportation will be provided with my own vehicle. The trip will be a great balance of exploring the cities and culture of Montreal and Quebec City, along with a day trip to explore the surrounding nature. Accommodation will include apartments, hotels, and/or hostels (price is based on shared room). Highlights of the trip include a number of attractions in Montreal such as Mount Royal and the Biodome, a stop at Montmorency Falls (taller than Niagara), Quebec City, and a day outdoors exploring Le parc national de la Jacques-Cartier.

A little about myself: I've lived in 3 different countries and traveled to more than 30. I love the outdoors, and you can expect a pretty active trip regardless of whether we are in a city or exploring the back country. There is nothing that brings me more joy than experiencing new adventures while making connections and lasting memories with strangers who become friends. While traveling, I like to allow flexibility to change plans depending on the group's wishes.

Info about the accommodation: In both cities, we will be staying in an apartment or hotel in a central location where we will be sharing rooms (with another traveler of the same gender, unless traveling as a couple). Rooms will be shared with the option to upgrade to a single room upon request for an extra cost. Breakfast may or may not be included depending on the type of accommodation. Montreal

Day 1-4

We will arrive on Thursday evening and have two full days to explore the Old Town and unique neighborhoods of Montreal, as well as experience the nightlife for those who are interested. Highlights include a guided bike tour, exploring Mount Royal, a visit to the Biodome, Notre-Dame Basilica, St. Joseph's Oratory, museums of art and archaeology, botanical gardens, and countless options for food and drinks.

Québec City

Day 4-5

On Sunday morning we will head to Quebec City while stopping at Montmorency Falls on the way. We will walk the 487 steps to see the spectacular 83 meters tall falls. There will also be the option to take a cable car up instead at your own cost. We will spend the later afternoon and evening exploring America's only remaining walled city and getting to know the history. We will return to Quebec City for the final night and spend the morning there before heading back to Montreal.

Portneuf—Jacques-Cartier

Day 5

On Monday morning, we will start the day early and head to the Jacques-Cartier National Park for the day. For those who are not interested, there is also the option to stay behind and spend an extra day exploring Quebec City independently. Otherwise, we will be spending this day in nature hiking through the mountains of this region (the length and difficulty will be chosen based on the group's hiking experience and fitness level). After a full day out and about, we will return to Quebec City for the night.

Québec City

Day 5-6

On the final day of the trip, we will enjoy a group breakfast together and look back on highlights from the weekend. We will start to head back towards Montreal around noon, where transportation can be provided to the city center or directly to the airport.
