Details about the accommodation: 7 nights at a centrally located, just 2 blocks from Zocalo Square charming Boutique hotel, which offers luxurious air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Fully restored 19th-century house, tastefully decorated, wooden floors, with a traditional courtyard and restaurant. Junior suite room. Non-smoking. As you step onto Oaxacan soil, the air is infused with excitement and the promise of a captivating journey. We’ll whisk you away to our charming boutique hotel in the heart of Oaxaca City. Take a leisurely stroll through cobblestone streets adorned with vibrant markets and colonial architecture.

Oaxaca

Day 2-3
Today we embrace the magic of the region’s gastronomy in a cooking class. Get ready for some incredible flavours and fragrances. After lunch, we will see how Oaxaca cheese is made. The locals call it “Quesillo”. Taste different varieties of this traditional drink and then, delve into the agave fields of Maestro Mezcalero, and dare to cut your own maguey!

Teotitlan del Valle

Day 3-4
Tour Tlacolula. A visit to Teotitlán del Valle, Santiago Matatlán y Tlacolula de Matamoros. Breakfast with Artisan Women: Enjoy the authentic flavor of Teotitlán del Valle while we explore natural dyes and the magic of textiles. Get to know the ancient tradition and participate in a small clay workshop.

Monte Albán

Day 4-5
A visit to the ethereal Monte Albán archaeological site will transport you through time. Unearth the whimsical world of Alebrijes, fantastical hand-painted creatures. We will see the process of how tortillas are made traditionally.

Day 5-6
We’ll visit the 20th November market, where indigenous customs meld with modern life. Delve into a tapestry of colour and flavor, enjoying a typical street food called “Memelitas.” Later, we will visit the Church of Santo Domingo and the Museum of Cultures.

Hierve el Agua

Day 6-7
Hierve de Aqua, Ancient civilisations. We’ll embark on a breathtaking journey to Hierve el Agua, natural mineral springs a top ancient petrified waterfalls. Then onto Mitla, famous for its ancient ruins, temples, and palaces built by the Zapotec civilization.

Day 7-8
Our adventure culminates with an ancient cacao ceremony, an ode to the spiritual energy that enlivens Oaxaca. Connect with tradition as you partake in this sacred ritual. In this experience, you will learn how to transform cocoa into chocolate in an artisanal way. In the evening, we celebrate the memories created with a vibrant farewell culinary delight!
