We go mostly on foot to discover Lisbon's alleys and cozy stairs, the romantic Sintra and its mountains and beaches, and the breathtaking Cascais. Prepare yourself to get lost between discovering Lisbon's great architecture and history at the same peace we know each other. Of course, we will see the great monuments but we will take care of amazing spots, closed rooms in some churches, lovely cafes, and splendid restaurants. We will take the nonobvious routes, talk with the locals and get into Portuguese and Lisbon history. On alternate days we go deeply into a nature adventure, tracking in the mountains near Lisbon, and visiting its historic landmarks and beautiful beaches. For some experiment with the surf and for others a cool beer or cocktail in the beach lounge.

Lisbon
Day 1
4 nights in an Airbnb in Lisbon. This will be your place to rest and sleep. During your stay in Lisbon, you can recharge batteries in this place. Last day I will cook dinner for everyone, preparing a Portuguese specialty.

Alfama
Day 1
Explore the oldest part of Lisbon, from the riverside to the top of the Castel. We will have an optional lunch at a traditional restaurant. During this part, we will be exploring the architecture and be aware of small details written on the walls.

Bairro Alto
Day 1-2
During the afternoon we will explore the other hill of the city, and some important landmarks such as the Statue of Fernando Pessoa, Luís de Camões, or Eça de Queirós. And some important churches such as St. Roch, St. Catherine, and Basilica da Estrela. We also will discover the beautiful XIX-century Garden of Estrela. The dinner will be in the traditional restaurant - specialized in cuisine from the Portuguese region of Alentejo.

Cascais
Day 2-3
During this day we will explore the old town of Cascais and its beautiful beaches. It will be a very relaxing day, get some tan, read and lunch in an amazing seafood restaurant (optional). We can also have an optional bodyboard class to explore the waves.

Lisbon
Day 3-4
Another day in Lisbon to discover other landscapes and landmarks. We will explore the Belém area, with the presidential palace, Padrão dos Descobrimentos, Torre de Belém and, of course, try the very famous Pastel de Belém. Yummm :) We can relax in the garden near the riverside and explore the botanic garden with a lot to tropical trees from the old Portuguese colonies.

Sintra
Day 4
Last day in the most romantic and beautiful village of Portugal: Sintra. We will see Palácio da Pena, Castelo dos Mouros, Palácio da Vila, and its gardens. We can go to the Castel on foot or take a bus, it's up to the group if they want to explore the nature between the village and the castle.
