Prepare to embark on a remarkable journey from the historic city of Istanbul to the enchanting beauty of Gokceada, the natural wonder of Longosphere, and the mesmerizing shores of the Black Sea. This tour promises to immerse you in a blend of rich history, stunning landscapes, and unforgettable experiences.

I am a traveler and an adventure guide with experience in planning, designing, and executing more than 250 expeditions and safari trips to untouched areas in deserts, coasts, and mountains. I've guided expeditions since 2009 and for most of these years, I've been doing adventures with my perfect TripMates in my home country, Iran. It's been about two years since I'm exploring the beauty of Turkyie and I will be honored to host you on this new expedition.

We will use three and four-star hotels, and a luxurious camping site during this trip. Rooms are double beds or twins, and we have to share our rooms with one of our TripMates. I will do my best to provide a single room for single TripMates if they wish, but it also depends on the hotels and their strategies. Do you have any questions? Please ask in the Q&A or after reserving your spot! See you!

İstanbul

Day 1-2
We will have our first day's breakfast in the city center of Istanbul, the old Constantinopolis, and while enjoying the great view of the Bosphorus, we start to know a bit about our team and get to know each other. Today we will visit Ayasofia, the most known icon of Istanbul, the Grand Bazar, Galata Port and Karakoy, the Galata Tower, the famous Istiktal Street, and Taksim Square.
2

Gökçeada

Day 2-4
On the second day, we will reach Gokceada Island, after observing the beauty of nature in the Marmara Sea and Tekirdag region, and the historical footsteps of the First and second world wars, the Turkish legend of all times, Ataturk, in Canakkale or the famous Dardanelles Strait. We will use a ferry to transport our car and us to the island. We will stay in a clean and nice hotel in Gokceada. The third day of our trip starts with surfing, snorkeling, and swimming on the beautiful coasts of the Aegean Sea. After having lunch we will drive around the island, visiting castles and forests and a short hiking around nature is a nice landing for this day. We will stay in the same hotel.
3

Çanakkale

Day 4
By leaving the island and its beauty, our fourth day starts. A great history lies behind the Canakkale Strait, which is also known as the Dardanelle Strait. We will visit the nature and history museum in this ancient region of Trakya. Canakkale is a gateway to historical significance and natural beauty. Home to the ancient city of Troy, Canakkale invites visitors to step back in time and explore its archaeological wonders. With its strategic location on the Dardanelles Strait, the city also offers breathtaking views of the sea and an opportunity to witness the Gallipoli Peninsula, a site of profound importance in World War I history. Canakkale blends history, culture, and stunning landscapes, making it a must-visit destination for travelers seeking a captivating experience.
4

Edirne

Day 4-6
Edirne which hosts us for two nights, is a treasure trove of history, culture, and architectural splendor. With its roots dating back to ancient times, Edirne has witnessed the rise and fall of empires, leaving behind a rich tapestry of influences that shape its character to this day. As the former capital of the Ottoman Empire, Edirne boasts a plethora of breathtaking landmarks that showcase the grandeur of its imperial past. One such masterpiece is the Selimiye Mosque, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the crowning jewel of Ottoman architecture. Designed by the legendary architect Mimar Sinan, this majestic mosque stands as a testament to human creativity and devotion. Its intricate decorations, towering minarets, and magnificent dome create a sight that leaves visitors in awe. The city's historical charm extends beyond its mosques. The Edirne Palace, once the residence of Ottoman sultans, invites visitors to delve into the opulent lifestyle of the empire's rulers. The palace complex, with its lavish halls, lush gardens, and captivating exhibitions, offers a glimpse into the splendor of Ottoman court life. Edirne is also renowned for its vibrant cultural heritage. Every summer, the city comes alive with the Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling Festival, an ancient tradition that has been celebrated for over six centuries. Witnessing the strength, skill, and camaraderie of the wrestlers as they compete in a field drenched in history is an experience like no other. For art enthusiasts, the Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum in Edirne is a treasure trove of artistic masterpieces. The museum houses an extensive collection of calligraphy, ceramics, textiles, and carpets, showcasing the intricate craftsmanship that has flourished throughout Turkish history. In addition to its historical and cultural allure, Edirne is blessed with stunning natural landscapes. The Meriç River meanders through the city, offering picturesque vistas and a serene ambiance. The riverbanks are adorned with charming tea gardens, where locals and visitors alike can unwind and savor the tranquil atmosphere. Edirne's culinary scene is another highlight not to be missed. The city's cuisine reflects its multicultural heritage, blending Ottoman, Balkan, and Middle Eastern influences. Delight your taste buds with mouthwatering dishes like Edirne liver, pita bread with cheese, and savory Balkan sausages.

Longosphere Glamping

Day 6-8
Longosphere camping in Turkey offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature in a truly awe-inspiring setting. Nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of Trakya, Longosphere presents a geological wonder that captivates the senses. Camping here allows you to immerse yourself in the tranquility of the surroundings, as you pitch your tent amidst elongated rock formations that stretch towards the sea. The mesmerizing beauty of the coastal cliffs, the soothing sound of crashing waves, and the panoramic views create an unforgettable camping experience. Whether you choose to hike along the rocky coastline, stargaze under the clear night sky, or simply bask in the serenity of this natural marvel, Longosphere camping promises a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We will observe the nature of Igneada jungles and enjoy the sun next to the pool in the camping area.
