After pickup from airport and checking in to our accommodation, we will explore the historic Salamanca Place and enjoy a leisurely stroll along the picturesque waterfront. Restaurante options: - Mures Upper Deck (open 11:30 AM - 3 PM) for fresh seafood with harbor views. - Frank Restaurant and Bar (open 5:30 PM - 10 PM): Offers modern Australian cuisine with a focus on local ingredients. - Rockwall Bar and Grill (open 5:30 PM - 9 PM): Known for its steak and grill dishes.

Salamanca Market

Day 2-3
Visit the Salamanca Market (open 8:30 AM - 3 PM). Browse through stalls selling local produce, crafts, and artisanal products. Whether you're a foodie, art enthusiast, or simply seeking unique souvenirs, Salamanca Market has something to captivate every visitor. Taste fresh local produce, from mouthwatering cheeses and gourmet bread to artisanal chocolates and farm-fresh fruits. We will most likely get some brunch here to eat!

MONA

Day 3
After salamanca market, we will pay a visit to the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA). Prepare to be amazed at MONA, the Museum of Old and New Art in Hobart. This unique museum is like no other you've ever seen. Inside, you'll find an incredible collection of both ancient and contemporary art. From thought-provoking installations to classical sculptures, there's something here for everyone. The building itself is a work of art, as it's mostly underground, carved into a sandstone cliff. As you wander through the exhibits, you'll be guided by the O, a special device that tells you all about the art and even suggests some quirky connections. And when you need a break, the Source Restaurant is a great place to relax with some delicious food and beautiful views of the Derwent River. MONA is a truly unique and captivating experience that you won't want to miss during your visit to Hobart. Entrance tickets to this museum is not included in the price listed, we will decide if are going based on everyone's interest.

Maria Island

Day 3-4
After breakfast, we will drive to Triabunna (about 1.5 hours from Hobart) and catch the ferry to Maria Island. We will explore the beautiful landscapes of Maria Island, including Fossil Cliffs, Painted Cliffs, and the historic Darlington convict settlement. We will have to pack a sandwich for the day.

Day 4
After breakfast, we will drive to the summit of Mount Wellington for panoramic views of Hobart and the surrounding area (about 30 minutes from Hobart). As we ascend, we'll witness the landscape transform before your eyes. Upon reaching the summit, we'll be rewarded with awe-inspiring panoramic views of Hobart, the Derwent River, and the distant landscapes of Tasmania. A visit to Mount Wellington is a chance to connect with nature's grandeur, and the mountain offers various walking trails for those seeking a closer encounter with the wilderness.

Day 4
After Mount Wellington, we will embark on an enchanting visit to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, a haven for Tasmania's unique wildlife. At Bonorong, we'll have the extraordinary opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the island's most iconic inhabitants. From kangaroos and wallabies to cuddly wombats and the elusive Tasmanian devil, we'll witness the wonders of Australian fauna. Our journey through the sanctuary is not just a wildlife encounter but an educational experience. We will then have dinner and head back to Hobart airport!
