Day 1-2
This extraordinary journey takes you on a discovery of two of the most beautiful islands in the Cape Verde archipelago, offering breathtaking scenery, unspoiled nature and a unique cultural wealth. After exploring the picturesque lanes and sampling the local culinary delights, you'll set off on a series of hikes through the varied landscapes of the island of Santo Antao, renowned as a hiker's paradise. Here, you'll be surrounded by majestic mountains, deep ravines and fertile valleys. You'll follow winding paths through sugar cane plantations, terraced fields and lush forests. The breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean will leave you speechless at every turn.

Day 2-3
Day 2 - Santo Antão Island: Forquinha Pass In the morning, you will be taken to the port for a 1-hour boat crossing to reach Santo Antão Island. From there, you will be transferred by road to Alto Mira, the starting point of your hike to explore the semi-arid landscapes, passing through cultivated oases and sharp basaltic cliffs. You will descend on foot to Chã de Morte, where you will spend the night in a family guesthouse. Breakfast, picnic, and dinner included. Walking time: 4 hours Elevation gain: +380m Elevation loss: -490m Accommodation: Guesthouse

Santo Antão
Day 3-4
Day 3 - Corda Village, Ribeira Grande - Figueiral Transfer by road to the village of Corda. This day allows you to discover the historic cobblestone road of Corda, which stretches for 36 kilometers, as well as the diverse landscapes it traverses. From the village of Corda, descend towards Ribeira Grande, crossing the foothills of the valley, and reach your accommodation in Figueiral, where you will spend the night in a guesthouse. Breakfast, picnic, and dinner included. Walking hours: approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Ascent: 550m. Descent: 750m. Accommodation: Guesthouse

Santo Antão
Day 4-5
Day 5 - Coastal trail - Cruzinha - Fontainhas - Ponta do Sol Hike along a paved path overlooking the ocean. In the afternoon, the trail passes through the peaceful and green valley of Corvo and then through Fontainhas, a perched village famous for its colorful houses, before reaching Ponta do Sol, the former thriving port of the island. You will stay overnight in Ponta do Sol at a guesthouse. Breakfast and picnic included. Dinner is not included. Walking hours: between 5 to 5.5 hours Ascent: 690m Descent: 700m

Santo Antão
Day 5-6
Day 6: Paul Valley - Vila das Pombas Transfer by the coastal road to the end of the road in Paul Valley, located at the eastern tip of the island. Paul Valley is known to be the greenest and most cultivated valley in the archipelago, with terraces planted with coffee, banana trees, guava trees, sugar cane, orange trees, and various vegetables. The end of the hike is along the seaside until you reach your accommodation. You will stay overnight in Vila das Pombas at a hotel. Breakfast and lunch at a local home included. Dinner is not included. Walking hours: 5 hours Ascent: 550m Descent: 750m Accommodation: Hotel.

Tarrafal de Monte Trigo
Day 6-7
Day 6 - Tarrafal hike - Monte Trigo - Cabotage back to Tarrafal A coastal walk beneath the island's peak, a volcano almost 2000 metres high, which also gives you the chance to meet the friendly locals, who live mainly from fishing. You'll be greeted by the sound of the waves breaking on the black sandy shore and the relaxed atmosphere that reigns in this little coastal paradise. Having savoured the ambience of Monte Trigo, it's time to resume your journey back to Tarrafal. But this time, you'll board a picturesque fishing boat (45 mins), adding a touch of maritime adventure to your experience. Walking time: 4 hours; Ascent +: 500 m; Ascent -: 500 m Breakfast, lunch with local people and dinner included: Accommodation: in a hotel

Day 7-8
Day 7 - Return to Mindelo - Half day: Island Tour: Monte Verde - Baia das Gatas and Calhau. Upon your return to Mindelo, there will be a short transfer to your hotel in the city center. After settling in, you will depart with your driver to explore Monte Verde, the highest peak of the island, offering panoramic views of the city and neighboring islands. You will then descend and continue your journey to Baia das Gatas, followed by a scenic drive along the beautiful Praia Grande beach until you reach Calhau, a small fishing village. After enjoying lunch at a typical restaurant, you will return through the central oasis of Calhau, where local farmers cultivate small plots and sell their produce at the markets in Mindelo. Breakfast is included. Lunch and dinner are not included and can be enjoyed at your own leisure. Accommodation: Hotel.
