Bangkok

Day 1-2
On arrival at Bangkok airport, you will be greeted by a representative of Asian Vistas. After completing your customs formalities (Visa, etc) pick up your luggage and look for our representative with an Asian Vistas display board at the exit gate (We will be waiting on the right-hand side of the exit area). You will be then transferred to your hotel. Tonight, enjoy a welcome dinner with your host as a local restaurant

Bangkok

Day 2-3
After breakfast you will be presented with your Water Gun (Super Soaker), Goggles and waterproof phone protector before we begin our journey to Bangkok’s famous Khao San Road for one of the biggest Songkran street parties. Bring plenty for drinks and to top up you water gun and dance and shoot the day away. We can either make our way back to the hotel for a break or continue our festivities into the night. Just remember we are up early tomorrow for something a little different,

Bangkok

Day 3-4
This morning we ride bicycles through the old suburbs of Bangkok. Expect to get soaked as we foreigners (Falang) get targeted by locals enjoying the festivities. We ride through typical Thai neighborhoods, along canals and narrow alleyways. We visit local markets, traditional houses built on stilts and ride on a canal boat. We also get to sample some local cuisine at a local restaurant. After we arrive back at the hotel you can either relax by the pool or head back to Khao San road for more of the festivities.

Bangkok

Day 4-5
Today we make out by local ferry along the Chao Praya River to Sathorn pier before making our way to the Sky Train for our journey to the Silom area of Bangkok where we repeat the water fight ritual at another of Bangkok’s most chaotic street parties. Early in the afternoon we escape the streets for visit to Lumphini Park to dry off and to search of the cities giant water monitors. We then catch the SkyTrain to Chatuchak Markets for a bit of shopping. Finally we head back to our hotel and out for a final night of festivities.

Bangkok

Day 5-6
This morning we wake early to visit the Royal Palaces of Bangkok which we have passed so many times in the previous days. We follow this with a visit to Bangkok’s Mae Klong train market. What makes this market so special is that all the market stalls operate along a narrow train track. Each time a train passes, it blows its horn in warning and within seconds the stall holders pack away their goods. As soon as the train passes within seconds everything is back to normal as if nothing even happened. It is a sight to behold. Tonight, we have dinner at Bangkok’s riverside Asiatique complex before watching the Calypso Ladyboy cabaret show.

Day 6
Today is the final day of our trip, we check out from our hotel and our host will help arrange for transportation to the airport. From here you can either make you way back home or take a couple of extra days to relax and rewind at one of Thailand’s amazing beaches.
