Sri Lanka - A Down South Adventure by car

If you want to explore Sri Lanka's world-famous southern beaches in the comfort of a private car, and learn about Sri Lanka's history, culture and politics, this is the trip for you. I am happy to slightly adjust it based on your preferences, too. This trip will explore the southern coast of Sri Lanka with its world-famous beaches, yummy seafood and other local dishes, historic sites in the famous Galle Fort and even some personalized yoga and relaxation sessions too if you wish (as I am a trained hatha yoga instructor, and a brand new yoga mat will be provided). We will explore some key attractions such as Galle, Unawatuna, Mirissa, Dondra and Tangalle along the southern coast of Sri Lanka by car while stopping over at places we find interesting, and of course at key sites whether it is beaches, historic temples or forts, local markets or a stop for a refreshing sip of a freshly cut tender coconut or a cuppa ceylon tea. Depending on your preferences, if you wish, we could change some of the stops and also the locations and activities too. Otherwise, I will come up with an itinerary that will suit both our preferences. About myself: I am a lawyer turned political analyst and I am also a trained and certified yoga instructor. I have lived and travelled in Sri Lanka, India, Singapore, and USA and have also travelled to several other countries. I have previously worked as a travel writer and have travelled extensively in Sri Lanka and have an in-depth understanding of the country's history, culture, people and traditions. I am happy to show you around Sri Lanka and include you in my trips. About the price: I will arrange travel (in my car) and shared accommodation at a hotel in Galle and Matara.
