Guided trip
🇰🇷 South Korea is an extraordinary country filled with beautiful beaches, thriving cities, ancient temples, remarkable natural scenery and most importantly, friendly people. South Korea has come a long way since The Korean War ended. Home to 11 UNESCO World Heritage sites that include temples, palaces and fortresses - come & learn about this fascinating country with me! *please note - due to the type of trip this is, and the big distances in South Korea to cover between sights, there will be a higher amount of walking. *We are looking for 1 more male to join the group!* I am looking for fun, open-minded TripMates who enjoy good conversation, a mixture of activities & trying new things to join me on an EPIC adventure experiencing this magical country 🤩🤗 👋🏽 I am 31, British 🇬🇧 & have been traveling solo for over 15 years across 70 countries! I used to organise volunteering group trips in International schools globally but more recently I switched to now work in the luxury travel sector assisting families with their person & business related travels. I live, sleep, east and breathe travel and I am excited to share my passion with you! You can read more about me & my sustainability focused travels on my profile 🥰 INCLUSIONS: ➡️ Logistics & booking responsibility taken care of by myself ➡️ Cheaper trip costs overall - my price is based on discounted activities/accommodations due to my connections in the industry ➡️ Accommodation in shared rooms, only within our group. Where I can I will separate genders & keep numbers in rooms to a minimum (Privates can sometimes be arranged at an extra cost if there is availability in the same accomadation) ➡️ Activities & tours mentioned in the itinerary ➡️ All transport between each destination on ground & for activities mentioned in the itinerary ➡️ Experienced, fun & knowledgeable trip leader! ➡️ Pre-departure guidance including help with flight timings, what to pack etc ➡️ Destination specific WhatsApp group for general travel questions & to meet your team before arriving ➡️ Travel insurance if you are a resident of Germany or Austria ➡️ Breakfast on some accommodations EXCLUSIONS: ➡️ F&B: Breakfast on some occasions/Lunch/Dinner & drinks ➡️ Spending money for souvenirs ➡️ Additional activities/sightseeing you would like to take part in that is not mentioned in the itinerary ➡️ Additional transport outside of what is mentioned in the itinerary 🗺 ITINERARY & GROUP SIZE: I will always try to stick to the itinerary provided as much as possible, however, please be aware it is subject to change depending on numerous factors that comes alongside traveling abroad. There are often variables that can affect the itinerary plans such as weather, traffic delays or local changes on ground. Our group will consist of maximum 10 of us (including myself). The nice thing about JMT is it’s for independent travelers so if you want to take a day to yourself or have some ‘you time’ you don’t need to feel restricted to stay with the group like you would need to do on a more structured corporate group trip! 📍 MEETING POINT: You will need to arrive into ICN: Incheon International Airport & make your own way to the first nights accommodation. You can arrive anytime but please be aware if you arrive before 14:00 (South korean local time) you may need to store your luggage with reception until check in is available. The earlier in the day you arrive, the more time you have to explore the area and get settled before we all meet for the first time face to face in the evening for dinner 📝 VISAS: Most nationalities can obtain a visa on arrival for South Korea. Please check BEFORE booking that you are eligible for a visa & you have a valid passport – these essentials are down to yourself to check & ensure validity. You will also need to check if South Korea has any alternative entry requirement forms or documents you need on arrival to be able to enter the country. ❤️‍🩹 INSURANCE: Travel insurance is included if you are a resident of Germany or Austria. You can view all the inclusions & exclusions of this insurance here: www.joinmytrip.com/en/t/travel-insurance. For any other TripMates, you will need to purchase your own Travel Insurance, which also covers you for Medical expenses should you need it whilst we are away. 📱WHATSAPP GROUP: I will be making a ‘South Korea’ specific group WhatsApp before we depart for us to start these conversations where I can answer any questions you may have about the trip.
