Join me for a week of coworking in one of the most picturesque Bulgarian towns! 🤗 You can easily reach Tarnovo in just a few hours with convenient bus connections from Sofia and Bucharest 🇧🇬 🇷🇴 This city is a wonderful blend of history and nature 💚 It is often referred to as the "City of the Tsars" due to its historical significance as the capital of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom. Nestled on multiple hills along the banks of the Yantra river, its amphitheatrical setting offers breathtaking panoramic views. Tarnovo is very walkable and there are plenty of things to do both within the city and its surroundings. It is also a student city, so we won't be missing out on exciting nightlife and evening activities.

⬇️⬇️⬇️ I recently co-hosted a remote working trip in southern Italy, and I'm super excited to organize and host this retreat in one of my favorite places in Bulgaria! As a native Bulgarian, I'll do my best to facilitate the experience and make it fun and memorable for everyone : )

⬇️⬇️⬇️ We'll be staying in beautiful apartments situated in the heart of the city. Each of us will reside in a private studio or a single room in a shared apartment. The rooms are equipped with a large double bed, so if you're traveling with a partner or a close friend, they can join for a fraction of the price (only covering the city tour and additional activities). The apartments feature the following amenities: ✅ Wi-Fi throughout the entire building ✅ A panoramic roof terrace ✅ Elevator ✅ A small gym ✅ Neat courtyard with a gazebo for relaxation The group activities will be hosted in one of the shared apartment's living rooms. Cafés, restaurants, and other venues are conveniently situated nearby, allowing us to diversify the experience and indulge in delicious Bulgarian food.

Day 1-2

In the late afternoon, we will gather for a welcome activity in one of the apartments. After introducing each other and the plan for the coming week, we will head out for dinner in a cozy Bulgarian restaurant.

Arbanasi

Day 2

This Sunday will be fun and chill! We'll get to know each other and the best places in town! In the late morning, we'll head out to explore the beautiful old town of Veliko Tarnovo. The tour includes a visit to the famous 14th-century fortress as well as the picturesque street of traditional arts and crafts. We will also visit the nearby village of Arbanasi, known for its centuries-old "esoteric" church, as well as the incredibly well-preserved traditional architecture.

Day 2-9

It's Monday and the workweek is starting! Throughout the week we will work from the comfort of our apartments, or alternatively, from cozy cafés and coffee shops nearby. In the evenings, we will gather "at home" or head out to indulge in delicious Bulgarian food - there are many good restaurants to try out in the center. We will dedicate one of the evenings to a home-cooked dinner, and another one to a workshop on a topic related to wellness or communication. A small private gym will be at our disposal throughout the stay, so we can stay physically active.

Day 9

We can organize a group trip on Saturday, a day before we leave. There are many beautiful places to be seen in the vicinity of Veliko Tarnovo - Hotnitsa Waterfalls, Etara Ethnographic Complex, Bacho Kiro Cave, and Bozhntsi, to name a few. I will be happy to arrange transportation and organize the itinerary. This trip is not included in the price and the cost will be determined by the transport options, renting a car or a private minivan and driver.
