What's special?
special Silent Retreat in a Metropolitan Area
Istanbul is an enormous metropol with more than 15 million residents, which at times can be quite overwhelming. In this trip, we will retreat into the biggest island overseeing the Marmara Sea and Istanbul skyline and have a chance to enjoy the nature and bond with each other. The island is the biggest one of the Prince Islands which are connected to Istanbul municipality and can be reached with ferries from coastal districts.

About me: I came to Istanbul for university education and have been living here for 6 years now. I recently graduated, and I am willing to meet and travel with TripMates all around the world. I am really fond of travelling as well as meeting new people.

Accommodation: The house is on the upper sides of the island, which requires a little hiking, but it is totally worth it with its breathtaking view of the Marmara Sea and Istanbul skyline. It is away from the hustle but still close to the pier and the local bazaar. I am also planning to spare at least one day for traveling to the center of Istanbul for the ones who never visited Istanbul before. Are you down for this trip? It is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike, offering a peaceful and charming escape from the bustling city of Istanbul. Büyükada translates to "Big Island" in Turkish, and it got its name due to its larger size compared to the other Princes' Islands.
