During this journey, we will stay at different places each night, each offering a unique experience. We will stay in a homestay with local people and a hostel with a stunning view of the river. All accommodations will have private rooms with bathrooms. Therefore, I recommend packing as little luggage as possible for this trip, since we will be travelling most of the time.

Hanoi

Day 1-2

Make sure you arrive in Hanoi no later than 6PM so that you don't miss dinner before our wonderful trip from Hanoi to Ha Giang. We will take the bus at 8PM and arrive in Ha Giang around 3AM the next morning. Don't worry if it's too early in the morning, as we will have a place to rest and recharge before beginning the adventure.

Đồng Văn District

Day 2

Our journey will begin with a good breakfast, followed by checking and ensuring the motorbikes are in good condition. We will then check-in at some breathtaking sightseeing places in Ha Giang, such as Quan Ba Heaven Gate and Bac Sum Slope. Next, we will explore Pao's House, which was a famous filming location in Vietnam, as well as Vuong's Palace. We will conclude day 1 in Dong Van Ancient Town, where we can get some rest before continuing our journey the next day. The distance we will cover on day 1 is approximately 140km, but don't worry – I assure you that this distance is truly worth it.

Mã Pí Lèng

Day 2-3

To continue our journey, we will wake up early around 6AM to experience the market of the ethnic minority group. Then, we will check in at the flag point, the northernmost point of Vietnam. After that, we will move to the most worth staying place on this trip - Ma Pi Leng homestay. This homestay is located on a mountain with a view straight down to the river. In the afternoon, we will explore the river by boat or SUP, depending on your preference, and finish our day with a great dinner and a stunning view. The total distance for this day will be around 60 km.

Du Già

Day 3-4

On the next day in Ha Giang, we will spend most of our time soaking in nature and relaxing after a 200km, 2-day ride in Du Gia. We will explore a local village and a waterfall where you can swim, if you wish, and enjoy a leisurely day. The total distance for this day is around 80km.

Ha Giang

Day 4-6

On the last day in Ha Giang, you will visit Lanh Village, a traditional trade village that makes brocade. You will have the opportunity to try making brocade yourself. After visiting the village, we will return to Ha Giang city to explore it before taking the 8PM bus back to Hanoi. Our adventure will end in Hanoi around 3AM the following morning.
