Guided trip
Hi guys, I am meeting a friend in Bourgas, Bulgaria, then we are heading to my hometown Haskovo, and then we will spend a day in Plovdiv and departure from Sofia. We will have a lot of fun and will do a lot of sightseeing also around Nessebar, may be Sozopol and many more. Haskovo has the world’s highest statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary with the Child. The monument was open in 2003 with a sanctification ceremony by Metropolitan Arseniy. Two years later, the statue was recorded in the book “The World Records of Guinness”, section “Religion” with its impressive 32.8 meters high. Plovdiv is worth visiting for its incredible cultural, historical, and natural landmarks. Nature lovers will enjoy the gorgeous Maritsa River and Tsar Simeon Park; Roman architecture fans – the Odeon and the dazzling theater; and culture vultures – the Old Town and the artsy Kapana District.

About me: I am Bulgarian, but I have been living in the UK for the past 10 years. I have been living in the USA for 2 summers. I love meeting new people and explore places. I am quite funny and enjoy delicious food as well.

Accommodation: We will be staying at an apartment in Burgas and a hotel in Haskovo and Plovdiv. I have booked for us, but it is fairly easy to find your accommodation. It depends on how many people join and whether they would like single rooms or not. The prices are 25-30 euro per night. Meals costs like 5-10 euro, coffee cost 1-2 euro. I'm looking forward to meeting you!
