Vancouver
Day 1
Day 01 - June 30, 2023: Welcome to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada! Upon arrival, you will land at Vancouver International Airport (YVR.) To reach the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, you can travel by Canada Line, Uber, or Yellow Cab. The choice is yours. We will stay in touch on WhatsApp; more on this a week before June 30, 2023. I look forward to meeting everyone in person over drinks at the Notch8 Lounge. I will meet you there between 15:00 and 18:00 during Happy Hour *(HH.) After our introductions, we will return to our room, unpack our stuff, get comfortable, pick our bed spots, and then head to the closest shopping store to buy the things we need for our entire Vancouver stay. We will go to Earls Test Kitchen for dinner during Happy Hour from 22:00 to 1:00. Since it is Friday, this restaurant may be subject to change. FYI, I intend to carefully pick restaurants with Happy Hour prices or other reasonably priced options for the whole duration of our trip. It will save us money! I will also take care of all the restaurant reservations. (We will even stop by the restaurant I currently work at!) RESTAURANT OPTIONS: π Browns Crafthouse (HH 15:00 - 18:00 & 21:00 - Close) π Glowbal (HH Only Between 14:30 - 17:30) π Gotham Steakhouse + Bar (No HH) (FYI: If any of you want to stop by somewhere with the group or do a little trekking on your own for a bit, feel free to do so. You're more than welcome to do that. Utilize our WhatsApp group, so everyone is in the loop about our locations and such...)

Granville Island
Day 1-2
Day 02 - July 01, 2023: HAPPY CANADA DAY! Once we are all awake, we head down to grab some beverages. We are not getting breakfast just yet; we have a long day feasting at the Granville Island Public Market. No matter the weather, this tour will go on. Remember to dress appropriately. We head to the market by bus, for about a 25-minute ride. The tour begins at 10:30 outside the Granville Island Public Market on the Southwest corner. The meeting point is near Benton Brothers and Longliner Seafoods, close to the intersection of Duranleau and Johnston Streets. Look for someone wearing a red top to find the Foodie Tour Guide. The activity concludes at the same place where it started, which is the meeting point. This tour is included in the Canadian Signature Experiences collection, a group of tourism businesses authorized by the Canadian Tourism Commission. They are known for providing authentic and unique Canadian travel experiences. INCLUSIONS: π’ Join a delightful two-hour food walking tour of Vancouver's Granville Island Public Market. π’ Indulge in a progressive meal showcasing over twenty classic Canadian tastings through the market's exclusive food tastings experience. π’ Explore ten or more tasty spots to visit within the market. π’ Discover a comprehensive list of food recommendations and discounts for Granville Island with their exclusive guide. π’ Our group will be accompanied by a Foodie Tour Guide, a friendly and well-informed individual who is intimately acquainted with the local area. π’ The small-group format allows for a more personalized experience. π’ All Fees π’ Taxes EXCLUSIONS: π΄ Hotel Pick-Up & Drop-Off π΄ Tips/Gratuities (Minimum: 18%) After this tour, we head back to Granville Entertainment District and walk around Robson Street if any of you would like to go for a little shopping spree. We could also stop by CF Pacific Centre, Holt Renfrew or Nordstrom for more shopping options. Then, we walk towards Coal Harbour. See the next stop...

Coal Harbour
Day 2
Day 02 - July 01, 2023: After our Granville Island Market Tour and a little stroll back downtown, we head to the Top of Vancouver Revolving Restaurant for a quick, Happy Hour bite. Which starts from 15:00 until 17:00; the last happy hour serving is at 16:15. Afterwards, we walk around Coal Harbour to see if there are any Canada Day shenanigans in the area. We return to our hotel room to rest and regain our energy for the rest of the night because we will be heading to Yaletown to experience Vancouver's nightlife. More on that below...
4
Yaletown
Day 2-3
Day 02 - July 01, 2023: Yaletown is my personal favourite part of downtown Vancouver. Yaletown is the city's trendiest neighbourhood, filled with residential loft spaces, sidewalk cafes, casual or fine dining restaurants, pubs, champagne lounges, bars, nightclubs, unique shopping, and of course, the wildest people. Yaletown is the best destination for nightlife in all of Metro Vancouver, and I cannot wait to show you all around and possibly even meet some of my industry friends because I work in this area!!! Be ready for a fun bar-hopping experience with me!!! NIGHTLIFE OPTIONS: π Banter Room π Bar None π Bartholomew π Cactus Club Cafe π El Guapo π Hello Goodbye π Hundy π Isabelle's π Minami π Pierre's π Soho π The Parlour We will see how late we can stay outside. Sweet Dreams, Vancouver...

Gastown
Day 3
Day 03 - July 02, 2023: Good Morning! We are almost at the homestretch, but we are not going to think about that just yet. Ok? After waking up from a long night of clubbing, we walk back to Coal Harbour to go to the iconic FlyOver Canada Flight Ride. We will experience Canada's breathtaking landscapes from a simulated flight ride soaring high above. Hold tight as we fly over snow-capped mountains and speed through lush valleys inside a high-dome screen. Experience the sensation of the wind, mist, and woodsy scents filling your senses while getting to know the history and people of Canada through a preflight display. The overall experience takes thirty minutes, making it an ideal and reasonable activity for families and those visiting Canada for the very first time. Our reservation for this short activity starts at 12:45. INCLUSIONS: π’ FlyOver Canada's Simulated Flight-Ride Admission π’ All Fees π’ Taxes After going through pretty much all of Canada in like thirty minutes, we head over to Vancouver's oldest neighbourhood, Gastown. Boasting a rich history, lively atmosphere, and an impressive culinary scene that draws food enthusiasts to its streets. We will venture on a captivating 2.5-hour walking food tour with our own expert tour guide. Be prepared to uncover some of the city's best-kept secrets! We may also learn some fascinating and entertaining anecdotes about Vancouver's "Wild West" heritage that spans over a century and a half. The meeting point is at Waterfront Station. We will meet our tour guide fifteen minutes before the tour starts inside Waterfront Station, the main hall beside Starbucks, 601 West Cordova Street. (NOT Waterfront Centre.) Our Gastown Food Tour starts at 14:00. Our tour's end point is at Trees Organic Coffee Gastown. INCLUSIONS: π’ Seven Food Tastings & Three Alcoholic Tastings (Non-Alcoholic Options Available.) Tastings May Vary. π’ Professional Tour Guide π’ All Fees π’ Taxes EXCLUSIONS: π΄ Tips/Gratuities (Minimum: 18%) After the Gastown Food Tour, we can go wherever we decide, but I would like to take you all for a little stroll down Vancouver's Chinatown. I personally have not been there in a while, and I would like to revisit it again like it was my first time. More on that below...

Chinatown
Day 3-4
Day 03 - July 02, 2023: We will walk by this neighborhood in the afternoon. The culinary scene in Vancouver's Chinatown is a delightful mix of traditional and modern elements. This area is the hub of the Chinese Canadian community and is home to many well-established shops and restaurants that are known for their unique and delicious cuisine. One particular I would like to visit is The Keefer Bar. I have been hearing how good this bar is for so long. It just seems fitting that I'm visiting it for the first time with you all. I saw that they have a "Sunday Funday" for $8.00 Pineapple Daiquiris. They also have Happy Hour from Sunday to Friday between 16:00 - 18:00 and 50% off Bar Snacks & Dim Sum. I have explored extensively on the interwebs to discover the best Sunday drink specials in Downtown Vancouver, including Signature Caesar specials and "Sunday Fundays." Sundays are better for those seeking more economical beverages than Fridays and Saturdays. SUNDAY FUNDAY OPTIONS: π Cactus Club Cafe π Craft Beer Market π Malone's Taphouse π Pier 7 π Shark Club π The Cambie π The Famous Warehouse π The Living Room at Hotel Belmont π The Park Pub π The Pint π The Score We will head back to our hotel and call it a night...

Vancouver International Airport
Day 4
Day 04 - July 3, 2023: Today, we pack our bags and part ways. However, it is not a goodbye, but a see you later. π₯Ί We leave our hotel room right at noon. If your flight back home is scheduled for the afternoon or evening, we can have *brunch together. Alternatively, if the weather is good, we could go to the *beach and spend some time there until your flight. My recommendation for transportation to the airport would be to take the Canada Line. However, if you prefer to take a Yellow Cab or Uber, that is also a viable option. FAREWELL, VANCOUVER! FAREWELL, FAIRMONT! π¨π¦ BRUNCH OPTIONS: π Catch 122 π Jam Cafe π Twisted Fork BEACH OPTIONS: π English Bay π Kitsilano Beach π Sunset Beach It has been a pleasure having you on my trip, and I look forward to seeing you again on my next one. Thank you for joining me! I hope you liked your stay in Vancouver with me! I kindly ask for your feedback by leaving a review, as it can help new TripMates make informed decisions about joining my future trips with JoinMyTrip. Your input is highly appreciated!!! β€οΈ
