❗IF YOU JUST SAW OUR TRIP KNOW THAT IT'S HAPPENING!❗ Welcome to the most authentic group trip ever created for the spectacular Dia de los Muertos in Mexico! πŸ‡²πŸ‡½ πŸ™Œ Most people that visit Mexico for Day of the Dead often stay in Mexico City to get their faces painted and watch the big parade taking place in the city - which is fine, it's just Dia de los Muertos is much more than that! πŸ‘‡ I spent all of 2021 in Mexico and after living the REAL Day of the Dead with the locals in Oaxaca I knew I would at some point have to share that experience with the world cause it was truly one in a lifetime. If you're a person that loves a raw, authentic travel experience and doesn't mind getting out of their comfort zone, we like you - keep reading! πŸ‘€ 🎯 Goal of the trip: To make you understand what the tradition of Day of the Dead is actually about, while letting you experience the real Mexico! πŸ” Few of our highlights: πŸ‘‰ Visiting the illuminating cemeteries of Oaxaca by night, seeing how the locals are preparing for their loved ones' return πŸ‘‰ Having a traditional lunch with a local family on Day of the Dead, getting a feeling of how they experience this day year after year πŸ‘‰ Joining the Oaxaca's night street celebrations πŸ‘‰ Visiting a local farm to witness the process of making Mezcal and having a traditional lunch in the most Mexican scenery ever! πŸ‘‰ Visiting local markets to try the most authentic street food πŸ‘‰ Going for a majestic private boat tour in the ecological zone of Xochimilco πŸ‘‰ Attending a Lucha Libre wrestling performance You can check out our detailed itinerary day by day down below! 🚐 About the transportation: πŸ‘‰ The first day of our trip (October 28th) is going to be the only day we're going to be using public transport to move around Mexico City - if needed. πŸ‘‰ For the rest of the trip (October 29th-November 3rd) we're going to be traveling with a private mini-van of 16 people.

πŸ‘¨ A few words about me: My name is Tasos and for the past 4 years, I've been traveling all around the globe in search of the world's unique experiences away from the tourist crowds. My goal through traveling was always to learn and evolve as a human rather than taking endless pictures. Mexico had a huge impact on me as a person, so I couldn't think of a better place to start sharing my travel experiences with others! My goal through this trip is to truly show you the real side of Mexico so once you go back home you have an actual understanding about the Day of the Dead tradition and the country as a whole.

🏨 About the accommodation: Due to high season in Mexico for Day of the Dead and the complexity of our itinerary, I was able to secure 3 nights in 2-person hotel rooms and 3 nights in shared hostel dormitories. More specifically: πŸ‘‰ In Mexico City we're gonna be spending 2 nights (October 28th, November 3rd) in an 8-person shared dormitory - you're gonna be sharing the dormitory only with members of our group - breakfast is NOT included πŸ‘‰ In Oaxaca we're going to spend 3 nights (October 30th - November 1st) in a local hotel in 2-person rooms - breakfast is included πŸ‘‰ In Puebla we're going to stay in an 8-person shared dormitory downtown - you're going to be sharing the dormitory only with members of our group - breakfast is NOT included *NOTE 1: On October 29th we're going to be traveling overnight from Mexico City to Oaxaca, arriving early the next day so as not to waste a full day on the road given it's a 7-hour journey. It's going to be tiring but on the flip side cheaper overall because we're going to be saving the accommodation cost for one night :) *NOTE 2: If you're considering joining but don't feel comfortable spending 3 out of the 6 nights in a hostel dormitory and would rather stay in private or shared rooms with your friends, I'm open to discussing that - though the price would obviously be higher. In any case, feel free to message me if that's the case :) ❓Got any questions? Just drop them in the Q&A section below. Once you've booked, I'd love to set up a call to make sure we're on the same page and that this trip is exactly what you're looking for. Can't wait to hear from you! πŸ™ŒπŸ»
