On this trip, we will spend four days enjoying the incredible art, food, and culture Porto has to offer. Unlike a summer visit, we will experience all this without the normal hoards of tourists or scorching hot temperatures! We will do lots of walking, so this adventure is best for those who enjoy being active. In addition to fawning over fine art, our trip will include markets, gardens, gorgeous architectural sites, bakeries, wine tastings, and more. The public transit we may use is quite cheap (less than 2 euro) and most of the sites/museums are free, so this is a pretty budget-friendly place. Since this will be a small group of up to four people, I will customize our days to fit everyone's preferences. While we will enjoy some activities as a group, there can be room for solo adventures and free time as you wish.

About me! I'm Leah! I'm 28 and a professional musician. I've been lucky that this career (and a love of hiking) has taken me all over the world. As a four-time immigrant myself, I am really comfortable meeting new people, making friends, and learning how to live like a local. I've experienced all sorts of adventures (and misadventures) while travelling, so I am confident in navigating and planning. I am naturally a bit introverted, so when I travel I enjoy activities that don't involve being around enormous, touristy crowds. I love to find hidden gems in a new city and discover how the locals do things. I'm also really passionate about food, having worked for a while as a pastry chef. So, if you're into music, food, and you have a good sense of humour and adventure, we will probably get along well!

Details about the accommodation: We will stay in a lovely airbnb in the center of Porto, a short walking distance from many major sites. Each of us will have our own bed, but possibly share a room. The average price will be €40/night/person. The apartment will have: - Wifi - Kitchen - Bathroom/shower with amenities Please note that the exact location is subject to change, depending on how many tripmates confirm their participation. However, I will ensure that the basic price remains the same (if not lower!) and the amenities are still provided. Let me know in the Q&A section below if you have questions about the trip or the accommodation!
