Discovering Sri Lanka's Beautiful Beaches: A Guide to Coastal Adventures

Hello everyone 😊 If you are looking for an experience that mixes exploring beaches, surfing, chilled vibes, nature, and food. Then this is your trip. Also spontaneous recommendations & minor detours are most welcome ☀️🌊 About the trip During your trip to Sri Lanka, your first night will be spent in Colombo where you will explore the city, including a temple, museum, and local cuisine, starting at 2 pm. Afterward, you will stay overnight in Colombo and leave for Galle after breakfast, making stops along the way if there are any places you wish to see. On the second night, you will check into a homestay or villa in Galle around 1 pm and head to Galle Fort to explore, try out local cuisine, and explore the area on your own or with a group. The third night in Galle will involve a morning hike to a beach area where snorkeling is possible, followed by relaxation and exploration on your own or with a group, and dinner on the beach (refer to costs below) before leaving for Weligama on the fourth day after breakfast. On the fourth night, you will check into a homestay or villa in Weligama around 1 pm, explore the area, take surf lessons (see prices below), and visit a turtle hatchery before leaving for Hiriketiya after breakfast. The fifth night in Hiriketiya will allow you to check into a homestay or villa around 1 pm and spend time exploring, chilling, and surfing. Finally, on the sixth day, you will head back to Colombo in the evening, concluding your adventure in Sri Lanka. What is included in the price? - Accommodation - homestays/villas (Shared rooms) - Transportation - Breakfast Sleeping arrangements - shared rooms with separate beds (on a rare occasion a king size bed might have to be shared by a couple of people, but will try to avoid this as much as possible so that everyone has their own space) For you to have an idea of our daily expenses: - Street food will cost around $1-2 pp - A mid-priced meal inside Galle Fort will cost around $7 pp - Dinner on the beach will cost around $7-10 pp - The mid-priced meal will cost around $4-5 - Renting snorkeling gear will cost around $5 - Surf lessons will cost around $7-15 per hour - A visit to the turtle hatchery will cost around $3 - Anyone is welcome to join or stay out of any activity About me: My name is Lohika and I am constantly on the lookout for my next destination and new experiences and exploring this world in all its diversity.
