In Bogota, you will need sun protection all day long. I recommend you bring face and body sunscreen and a hat. We’ll be walking a lot, so bring good sneakers or boots. Bring an umbrella as well, because it’s quite rainy. On the first working days (Thursday and Friday) we’ll work (maybe in a hidden gem café or, if you prefer, at our Airbnb), and then go and discover nightlife. On the first weekend, we will go to three cold-weather towns and stay at one of them, then go back to our routine on Monday. In the second week, we will continue to discover different Bogota districts at night, checking out different areas to eat deliciously and have nice nights out. We’ll begin taking Tiamine to prevent mosquito bites. On our last and second weekend, we’ll travel to hot-weather areas nearby Bogota to go on some swimming pool adventures and more. We’ll head back to Bogotá and pack for your trip back home. We’ll be leaving each of you at the airport.

About me: I’m a queer folk, I’m married to a beautiful woman called Alex. I'm a mix of everything, laid-back but super willing to party, love tea and beer (others too), I like alcohol but not getting drunk, I like exploring the outdoors, as I love our jobs and that’s why I'm hosting a co-working trip. I have a dark sense of humor, and I enjoy jokes and smiles. I'm a very sociable person who wants a cultural interchange and experiences that will last forever in our memories. I'm looking for TripMates who are easygoing, who want to explore Bogota’s underground nightlife, and also go on adventures on the weekends. Non-conforming gender people and women are invited. I love diversity and laughs.

Accommodation: We’ll stay at an Airbnb that has separate shared rooms with space for each person to work in the common areas, where we'll also hang out, shared bathrooms, and a kitchen in Bogota. The location of this Airbnb will be perfect for us to discover every interesting area of the city, restaurants nearby, cafés, and supermarket. In the countryside, we’ll stay in cabins with shared bathrooms and common areas. Do you have a question? Ask in the Q&A!

On the first end of the working week: We will discover the cafés, restaurants, and nightlife in Bogota, for this we'll take one sector per night. During the day, we'll go to a café to work (if that's available to you), we'll have lunch at a restaurant, and go back home to finish our working day. At night, we'll head to one or different clubs to experience the underground culture. Day one (Thursday): arrival. Welcome dinner at a nice restaurant. Day two (Friday): breakfast and yoga (if you want), working day, go to work at a nearby café (if available), lunch at a restaurant. Night out.

Zipaquirá

Day 3
*Cold weather, bring your gear!* Day three (Saturday): We'll wake up early to seize the day, so we can go to Zipaquirá and spend the day there. We will go to the amazing salt mines in Zipaquirá and will eat typical food from the region. The mine salts are also a must-see, as they are part of Colombia's cultural patrimony, they are beautifully lighted and there are attractions inside. Late evening: departure to Villa de Leyva.
3

Villa de Leyva

Day 3-4
Day three (Saturday night): arrival. If we're not too tired, night out. We'll go to a place called Villa de Leyva, where there are little lakes that have little lagunes filled with heavy metals that make them look green and blue, we will also find the only two vineyards in Colombia, where we'll find delicious white wine. We'll stay at shared cabins, with shared bathrooms and common areas. All of these areas are cold during the morning, late afternoon, and night. So, please bring a good jacket, pants, and sneakers or boots. Departure to Bogota.

Day ten (Saturday): Waterfalls in La Vega. Trapiche making: where farmers make the "panela", our sugar cane sweetener. During this day you'll have the possibility of doing extreme sports, so if you want to, come prepared.

Pacho

Day 11
Day ten (Saturday): Coffee plantations in Pacho. Sightseeing. We'll make a coffee tour in our car and visit coffee plantations. Pacho is nearby La Vega, so we won't be staying here, we'll stay in La Vega. This day we'll return to our house in there and spend the night.
