Konavle

Day 2-3
After a morning coffee and panorama tour, I will take you to the War Museum on top of Mount Srd or Dubrovnik Old Town where you can choose whichever museum you desire to visit and learn more about the history of Croatia. We will then head 40mins away to the village of Konavle (at approximately 2pm) where we will visit a historical stone mill and meet Dario, the owner who will enlighten us with his stories from Konavle's past history and traditions. We will then savour the flavour of a traditional Peka lunch! This traditional dish, slow-cooked to perfection in a cast-iron pot, showcases the harmony of locally-sourced ingredients. Tender pieces of lamb and vegetables, infused with aromatic herbs, provide an authentic taste of Dalmatia. This unique experience combines the flavours of the past and present, offering a profound connection to Dubrovnik's culinary heritage. It's an unforgettable journey that will leave you with a deep appreciation for the traditions and flavours that make Dubrovnik truly special. After our tummy's are full we will return to the Old Town to join a walking tour, where your local guide will provide you with interesting stories about Dubrovnik's history and culture then the evening is yours to explore in your free time then join fellow trip mates for dinner in one of the gorgeous restaurants within the Old Town walls.
