Hello, my name is Fernanda and I will be very happy to be your host.😄 I know you have been waiting for this trip for a long time.. and you know it's gonna be life changing!✨ You will arrive at the capital, San José, and stay in your own room with a shared bathroom for the night. I will arrange everything for you to smoothly check-in the hostel and we will have a dinner meeting to get to know each other and discuss or adventure to come. The next morning we will jump in our private bus and be taken to our second stop at the majestic Monteverde Cloudforest. You will stay with other Tripmates in a shared room with a maximum of 2 people. And Monteverde would not be complete without getting to know the emblematic hanging bridges, so we will surely pay a visit which I have included in the price! Now let's put our swimming suits on! 🌊 On the morning of day 3 we will head further north to the Pacific Coast of the country. Either a stylish Ecolodge or a nice Hostel awaits for us to relax and have some time for ourselves. You will share with 1-2 Tripmates more. When we meet I can surely recommend some activities depending on what you most enjoy. *There's the option for a Catamaran at Sunset on Sept 5th at extra cost.

About me! A little bit more about me: I'm a 26 years old Costa Rican girl who has always loved to travel. I have traveled to around 20 countries, mostly by myself and on a budget. After all, places I have visited, I don't doubt Costa Rica will stay as number one on my list, and I assure you this small piece of paradise will always stay in your heart!♥️ I want to share my beautiful country. I already work in tourism and know all the little details to make a perfect trip. I speak Spanish, English, Portuguese, and German fluently, in case you are all from the same language background I can guide you in any of these languages. And last but not least: I can't wait to travel together!🎉

San José

Day 1-2

Welcome to Costa Rica! The airport is around 35 minutes away from the center of our capital. You need to arrange your own transportation to get to the city, I can gladly assist give you the best advice on what are some companies, how to take the bus or use Uber. San José is a city with its own charm, not many tall buildings and just a few historical ones. The National Theater, Jade and National Museum, or the Steinvorth building for coffee are some places to visit. Going to Barrio Escalante for a drink, the fancy nightlife street, or to La California, a little more local. Depending on your arrival time I can gladly give you a walking tour around some key locations!

Monte Verde

Day 2-4

Cloudforest and Walking on Tree Tops Monteverde is the most emblematic Cloud forest in Costa Rica. This small town will melt your heart, with its artisan shops, organic and local offers, and also mixed with a call for adventure! You also have the chance to walk through hanging bridges on the tree tops There is also a possibility for an extra to do Zip-Line! Its immense wildlife including sloths and the resplandescent Quetzal might show themselves along this walk. Keep your eyes open!

Guanacaste Province

Day 4-6

Beach days on the Pacific! Guanacaste encloses most of the North Pacific of the country, with kilometers of beautiful beaches and we will stay in one of these! Here, we will stay in Bungalows shared with other Tripmates. The accommodation is at a walking distance of 4-6 minutes from the beach, around 200m. These days you can use it to relax, we can plan some activities together, or you can spend some time exploring on your own. I will also gladly give you lots if tips!

San José

Day 6-7

Time to say goodbye! At this point, I'm sure we will all have all kinds of mixed feelings. But overall this will mean we have almost finished an amazing and unforgettable trip together. I will leave you the night before your flight or departure to the next stop again in San José. We can also have a last dinner or shop for some souvenirs.
