What's special?
special Brazilian guide to a brazilian tour

Hop in a very comfy spot at Sao Paulo, the biggest city in Latin America. Its skyscrapers and everyday up-tempo hides many opportunities to know incredible places, a plethora of options in food and drinks and, of course, people from all over Brazil and other countries. Our version of the "city that never sleeps", Sao Paulo brings the perfect chaos to anyone who wants to get a small sample of Brazil's huge blended culture.

About me! As an geographer, I'm an out-of-door type of guy, and I've been on many times at Sao Paulo, as I graduated at Rio Claro, a city less than 200 km away from the state capital, and man, it's a damn fine city.

Details about the accommodation We will be staying in a house at the Paraiso neighborhood, south side of the city, near downtown and just a few minutes from the Paraiso subway station - it is better to move around the city on public transportation, that works from 5 a.m. to midnight (1 a.m. on satudays). There will be a room with three single beds, one with a double bed and two with one single bed each. There are work stations in each room.

Trip Itinerary
1

Paraíso

Day 1-2
In the first day, we should gather together in order to know each other and set the priorities for our trip. Let's get to the supermarket to buy supplies and maybe some drinks to start the trip in home time. There will be plenty of space for us to enjoy the house and our companionship.
2

Japan House São Paulo

Day 2-3
This is one of the most beautiful places to visit in SP and one of the many museums located in the Avenida Paulista, one of the most famous places in the country. The Japan House offers free, guided exhibitions that includes japanese arts, architecture and culture.
3

Tokyo 東京

Day 3-4
As we mantain the Japanese agenda (sort of), we're going to one of the most beautiful rooftops in SP. Tokyo has it all: a beautiful view with all types of food (with vegan options), parties and also karaoke private rooms if we want to make things more musical. Personally I love karaoke! What about you?
4

Northeastern Traditions Center

Day 4-5
Enough with the overseas culture, let's have some brazilian food! The Northeast region has such an incredible and diverse culture, that cities like SP and Rio have its own Tradition Center. Have you ever tried acarajé, mugunzá or maybe a shot of Pitú? This is the place to know it all.
5

Bella Jaú

Day 5
What about a classic brazilian night at the bar? Sitting on wood chairs, drinking one liter beer bottles - the very popular "litrão" - and listening to all sorts of music over the night. Lots of opportunities to meet new people and share some experiences.
6

Mercado Municipal de São Paulo

Day 5-6
This is the most classic tourist plan in Sao Paulo: having a mortadella sandwich at the City Open Market, the "Mercadão". There are many kinds of food also, but this is the perfect chance for you to know what a brazilian food market looks like. I don't know if I'm much of a nationalist, but I think they have a singular beauty and charm.
