Guided trip
Let me take you on a thrilling adventure through the beautiful coastal town of Rimini and the captivating microstate of San Marino! We will experience the Italian culture, history, and mouth-watering cuisine while exploring the charming beaches, narrow Italian streets, and stunning landmarks. I plan for us to meet in Rimini, which you can reach from Bologna, Ancona, or Rimini airports. It would be my pleasure to help you find the most convenient way to get here! We would spend the nights here in Rimini and go to other places during the day. In Rimini, we will enjoy the beach where we can play beach volley, explore the historic city center, and visit the Arch of Augustus, an ancient Roman arch that marks the entrance to the city. The area is also famous for its great bars and restaurants. This area also has nice vineyards and landmarks which I'd love to show you! We will visit one of the smallest states San Marino, have a nice walk around a small authentic Italian cities and enjoy Rimini's famous bars, restaurants and parties (if you're up for it)! I can organize a skydiving experience for you, like I did for my previous trip mates. Also, there's an option to go to Florence on Saturday with a tourist group for a day (85 euro per person). So if you decide to take it, it would be possible to enjoy San Marino on Monday! There are too many great places to visit around which I would love to take you to! I'm totally flexible and can also organize a car with Italian driver (my close friend) to go to beautiful Furlo George or secluded beaches. I would love to share this experience with 3 open-minded people who like immersing in new cultures, are active and open to communication! What is included: - Accommodation for 3 nights in Rimini; - Bus tickets to San Marino; - Tripp planning; - Insurance (for Austrian and German residents). Additional costs: personal expenses, grocery shopping, meals out, and any extra activity such as - skydiving (210/280 euro), - excursion to Florence (85), - trains to the nearest cities, - car rent/ gas (if we decide to rent a car)

โœ‹ I'm Tanya, 25 years old, and I live in Rimini. I have been exploring the area with locals and I look forward to showing you its gems and all the best parts! I started traveling as soon as I turned 18 and have planned many trips for me and my friends over the years. I love sports, yoga in particular, sunsets, and making friends with people from different cultural backgrounds! I speak English, Russian, and some Italian.

Accommodation: Shared. Depending on the number of mates it will be a 2-3 star hotel or a cozy residence apartment near the beach, so we can go and enjoy the sea any time. The city center is about 20-min walk from the beach, or we could use a free shuttle to get there. I know the best pastry shops and Gelateria in this area! The apartment is shared with trip mates, each has his/her own bed. I will not stay overnight, because I believe it would be more comfortable for everyone to share the place with fewer people and to decrease the overall price of the stay. For more info, read the description below, and you can always reach out to me to ask questions! I'm open to slightly altering the plans if the group wants to do extra activities like visiting other cities, going to an amusement park, skydiving, hiking etc. I'm here to give you the best Italian experience! :)

Rimini

Day 1-2
We will meet in Rimini and check in at the property. We'll stay overnight in Rimini during the trip. Once we're settled, it's time for a beachside adventure. We'll take a leisurely stroll along the promenade and have lunch at a beachfront restaurant Lella where they serve traditional Romagnola Piadina and Cassoni. After a delightful afternoon by the beach, we'll switch gears and dive into history. Our first stop is the remarkable Arch of Augustus, an ancient Roman arch that screams, "Welcome to Rimini!" It's like a giant time-traveling gateway. Then we visit the ancient Tiberius Bridge and the San Giuliano district, where the houses are like a colorful paint palette brought to life. Prepare your cameras for some seriously Instagrammable pictures! And to top it off, we'll have a nice aperitif at a cozy bar with an impressive selection of wines. There is also a wonderful restaurant in the same area with the best carbonara with truffle! And later we can have a drink to a rooftop bar to enjoy the sunset.

San Marino

Day 2-3
Get ready for a thrilling day in San Marino, one of the world's tiniest independent states! We'll explore the medieval hilltop city, and visit the iconic three towers and Palazzo Pubblico. Indulge in delicious local specialties at La Fratta Trattoria and enjoy tax-free shopping (perfume is cheaper there, for example). Then we return to Rimini for an aperitif at the Darsena bar to catch a sunset. Since it is Saturday and Rimini is famous for its fun, we can go later to one of the beach parties. But before, I'll show you the place where we can grab THE BEST homemade cassoni! We'll use a shuttle to get to and from San Marino. OPTION 2: To join the trip to Florence for one day with a tourist group (85 euro). Since I partly work for a tour operator here, I can put you on different excursions during the week. And on Saturday you'll have a chance to go to Florence! So I would stay in Rimini if there's at least one person who wants to stay. If you decide to take this option, then you can go to San Marino on Monday also with a tourist group or by the bus. If you want to go on an excursion on Monday, you will also have a small wine degustation upon arrival in San Marino.

Rimini

Day 3-4
Today is absolutely up for you to decide about the activities! I will be able to join you only in the late afternoon, so I have a list of options how to spend a lovely Sunday afternoon. Whatever you choose, I would provide you with all the details and info needed ๐Ÿค ๐Ÿ๏ธ Enjoy the beach and water activities (tubes, boards); ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น Visit a beautiful city Ravenna, the city of mosaics, home of 8 UNESCO World Heritage sites. Or a small medieval city Cesena with narrow little streets, fortress on the hill and many nice bars and restaurants! ๐Ÿช‚ Go Skydiving with a breathtaking view on the landscape and the sea! In my last trip, my mates decided to do it, and said that it was absolutely incredible! If there's a TripMate able to rent a car, these options are my best recommendation! ๐Ÿ“ Furlo Gorge (small hike) located in the Apennine Mountains. There you can take a scenic hike along the emerald river and enjoy stunning views of the natural landscapes. ๐Ÿ“Mezzavalle beach (secluded beach with clear blue water) When you descend down the cliff, you discover a secluded beach. Perfect place for a delightful picnic and a nice swim, enjoying the serenity of the surroundings. ๐Ÿ“Mancini (winery with a perfect view for a sunset) There you can have a nice apรฉritif in the famous winery with the spectacular view of the sea, the cliff, and the sunset! They serve the wine they make with traditional snacks accompanying the drinks. Whatever option you choose, we meet in the evening to have dinner or a drink together. If you're staying in Rimini or coming back before the sunset, we will definitely go to catch the sunset on the Rimini Wheel! If you're as much of a sunset lover as I am, you will definitely enjoy that view! On Sunday there's a famous Ciringuito beach party, so if you're up for fun we can also go there! You can depart on Monday in the morning depending on your flights. Or if you want to make your trip longer and also enjoy more places let me know, and I will fix it up for you! There's a day trip to Venice on Tuesday btw ๐Ÿ˜‰ See you guys on my next trips!
