5 Day Private Trip in Turkey Exploring: Cappadocia, Selcuk, Ephesus and Pamukkale

We will start in the morning around 09AM to explore Cappadocia begins with Devrent Valley, also nicknamed as "Imagination Valley." This location is popular for its animal-shaped rock formations and red-colored lunar landscape. We then proceed to Pasabag or Monks Valley, which is noted for its fairy chimneys and mushroom-shaped boulders, looking like an ancient village lived in by another species. A Take a short break for lunch before heading to the Goreme Open Air Museum, one of Turkey's UNESCO World Heritage Sites, which is home to many remains of old buildings and churches clumped together on a picturesque hillside. The last stop of the tour is Uchisar Castle, one of Cappadocia's most prominent landmarks and a must-visit for those in the region. Then we will be drop back to hotel in the evening.

We may do Hot Air Balloon in early morning to witness the sunrise. This optional tour needs additional fee usually 250 USD p.p. Price may vary depending on the operator, season, etc. Balloon also may be cancelled due to weather conditions. We will start exploring Cappadocia in the morning around 09AM after breakfast to explore Cappadocia begins with the Derinkuyu Underground City, the biggest one in all of Turkey and the deepest found in Cappadocia. This natural wonder is carved 18 storeys deep into the ground and still stable for centuries and centuries. Then, head to Ihlara Valley, a popular area to hike around, where we can see Byzantine cave churches and other peculiar formations. The hike is about 4 kilometers long and will be beside the Melendiz River. Have a lunch at a charming restaurant overlooking the Melendiz River After that, head to the Selime Monastery, the largest religious structure in Cappadocia, which has chambers and rooms that are connected by tunnels or winding passageways. Last stop, Pigeon Valley, a breathtaking valley situated between Göreme and Uçhisar that is ideal for a relaxing trek. We going to be seeing a considerable number of pigeons in the area. Then we will be drop back to hotel in the evening.

After breakfast in Cappadocia hotel, we go to Cappadocia Airport and take morning flight from Cappadocia to Izmir. Arrive in Izmir before lunch. Then we take a 1-hour drive to Selcuk by private car.

We will arrive at the hotel and check in. Have a lunch in nearby area. Then we are free to explore Selcuk by ourselves. No guided tour for this day. But there will be many interesting places nearby in downtown Selcuk.

We will be pickup around 8.30AM and go to pamukkale by Private car. The ride will approximately 2.5 hours. We will see the historical and natural sites in Pamukkale as Necropolis, Roman Baths, Domitian Gate, Latrina, Oil Factory, Frontinus Street, Agora, Byzantium Gate, Triton Fountain, Cathedral, Apollon Temple, Plutonium, Theater and Cleopatra Antique Pool which are all located in the Ancient city of Hieapolis and also listed as the Unesco World Heritage Site since 1988. We then go back to Selcuk in late afternoon.

We start Ephesus Tour around 9AM in the morning. We will visit House of Mary, Ephesus Ancient City, Temple of Artemis, and Sirince Village. We will finish around 4PM and transfer back to Selcuk. You may stay in Selcuk or return to Izmir via private car.
