Trip Itinerary
1

Postplatz

Day 1
We will meet at the accommodation in the afternoon to go in the direction of the Neustadt. We will walk along the Augustusbrücke for a short tour in the self-proclaimed "Buntes Republik Neustadt" and finish our tour day in front of the "Goldener Reiter"
2

Golden Rider

Day 1-2
We will end our first day here, taste some delicious beers and plan our next day's itinerary. We have many options to choose from, such as walking through the Altstadt in the morning and the afternoon free for museums or shopping (or the other way around), taking a boat and cruising the Elbe in the direction to Pillnitz, going out for dinner or just spending a quiet morning or afternoon.
3

Zwinger

Day 2
We will start our second day at the Zwinger, a scene of great events in the times of Augustus the Strong. Originally built as an Orangerie, it is now the home of art and science collections. You can come back and enter with your card to see the impressive collections.
4

Semperoper Dresden

Day 2
Then, we will see the Semper Opera House. In this jewel of theatrical architecture, some of the best German operas were performed, including in his repertoire some of Richard Wagner's and, of course, most of Richard Strauss's operas.
5

Dresden Castle

Day 2
In front of our eyes, we will find the "Dresden Palace", residence since 1547 of electors and kings of Saxony. Inside is the "Green Vault" (Grünes Gewölbe), where the largest collection of jewelry in Europe is kept.
6

Schloßplatz

Day 2
Afterward, we will continue our tour to the "Palace Square", one of the most important and beautiful points of the city, which remained in ruins for more than 40 years. From here you can see all the monuments of the Altstadt.
7

Brühl's Terrace

Day 2
We continue to the "Balcony of Europe", which has an extension of 500 meters along the Elbe River. We will walk along the terrace that is located between the famous Augustus Bridge and the Carola Bridge.
8

Frauenkirche Dresden

Day 2
Then, we will walk to the emblem of reconstruction and "symbol of reconciliation" of the historic center of Dresden, the Church of Our Lady. The Frauenkirche is one of the most prominent churches in Europe, as it is one of the tallest sandstone buildings in the world.
9

Fürstenzug

Day 2-3
Last but not least, we will walk together to the world's largest porcelain mural, the Procession of the Princes. Approximately 24,000 Meissen tiles decorate the north wall of the royal court stable, showing the glorious years of the House of Wettin between 1123 and 1906.
10

Dresdner Molkerei Gebrüder Pfund GmbH

Day 3
We will meet (to finish our tour around Dresden) at the most beautiful milk shop in the world. The Dresdner Molkerei Pfund was opened in 1892 by the Pfund brothers and today is one of the most popular attractions in Dresden. This Molkerei offers you not only a fascinating appearance but also a wide variety of cheese specialties and regional products.
